New process for 100% recycling of flexible packaging laminate waste

Enval, a small Cambridge UK-based company, has developed a unique, continuous process for the complete recycling of flexible packaging laminate waste. The patented Enval process extracts commercially usable aluminium, oil and gas from laminated packaging waste, such as drink cartons (e.g. Tetra Pak), food and drink pouches and toothpaste tubes, allowing the waste to be completely recycled in an economically viable way.
