Ukrainian confectionery company Roshen to build chocolate plant in Russia

The leader of the Ukrainian confectionery market, Roshen, has declared its intention to construct a chocolate factory in the Russian city of Lipetsk. The company already has two Russian plants, producing hard candy, pastry and sweetmeats. The company said it will invest ?30-50 million in building the 40,000-50,000 square metres facility which will be capable of producing 10,000 tons of confectionery a month.
