Poultry nutritionists discuss epigenetics at seminar

The role of nutrition on gene expression can only be expected to increase. Controlling the future? At some time or another we probably all have wanted a little more control over our destinies. While we do have control over many aspects of our lives, the genes that we are born with can't be changed - or so it was long thought. While the genes present in any animal cannot be added to or deleted, how they are expressed can be influenced by nutrition, and this was the topic at a recent seminar hosted byAlltech in Dunboyne, Ireland.
