Sorrow at the deaths of Irene and Georg Schwarz

Irene and Georg Schwarz, the senior directors of the Engel Group, both passed away within only a few days of each other in late March and early April 2016 at ages 86 and 88. Both of them were actively involved in the business well beyond their 80th birthdays. Irene Engel and her family came to Austria in 1944, where one year later her father Ludwig Engel founded a machinery construction company in Schwert-berg.
