New BOPP film lines ordered by Peru's OPP Films SA

Peru's OPP Films SA has ordered two new extrusion lines from Bruckner of Germany, each of which is 8.7m wide with nameplate capacity of 35,000 tpa. The first of these lines is scheduled to come on stream in the latter half of 2011 and the second at the end of 2011 / Q1 2012. This will increase the company's overall BOPP film capacity in Peru to 120,000 tpa after both lines have been commissioned. OPP Films SA is a subsidiary the Oben Licht Holding Group, which owns BOPP film producer BOPP Del Ecuador and thermoformer, Pack Film Colombia.
