摘要

Tiny organisms sized in micrometers (1 μm = 10~(-6) m) or parts of micrometers, nanometers (1 nm = 10~(-9) m) are called microorganisms. They are the ancient organisms occurred billions of years before the man [1]. Microorganisms feature high resistance, rapid propagation and adaptability. No other living organisms in the nature, except for microbes, can stand pressure up to 800 atmospheres. Microorganisms are known capable of existing at +100...+120°C and -250°C. Some species of microorganisms were found which stand the impact of hydrochloric and sulfuric acids, inhabit in kerosene and formalin.
