Europe's flexible packaging market sees growth of no more than 2% in 2013

Preliminary research for PCI's forthcoming update on the European Flexible packaging market indicates that demand overall grew by no more than 2% in value terms in 2013 with associated volume in area terms increasing by around 1.5%. In Western Europe the market saw only minimal growth overall with markets broadly stable in the UK, France and the Nordic countries but further declines were experienced in Southern Europe.
