Concrete has been used for years as a building material in structures such as buildings, bridges, towers and silos. But the environment has changed and concrete durability is now often affected by such external factors as air pollution, acid rain, de-icing salts spread on roads during winter, etc. Reinforced concrete no longer can be considered as an everlasting material and needs to be protected.
