T'he World Trade Center in Mexico City played host to this year's Latin American Coatings Show, held from July 15-16. This year has not been without its challenges but despite this LACS 2009 received a record number of pre-registrations to the show. There may have been slightly less exhibitors than two years ago but the opinion of those who did participate was truly positive. Throughout the two days, the aisles were buzzing. Some 2800 visitors flocked in to discuss ways in which their companies could come out of the recession stronger by purchasing products and equipment in readiness for the resurgence of the economy.
