Democrats Push Inclusion of Provision On School Pesticide Use in Education Bill

Democratic members of Congress Nov. 27 called for inclusion of a school pesticide use provision in education legislation (H.P.1) that was in a conference committee. The language, which would require states to develop pest management plans for schools, is contained in the Senate version of the Bette Education for Studients and Teachers Act, which amends the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
