摘要

Polymer modified gold nanoparticles and smart core/shell nanocomposites of intelligent polymers are reviewed. The main preparative methods are reviewed: direct synthesis, graft-to strategy, graft-from strategy and physical adsorption method (surface initiated radical polymerisation, atom-transfer radical polymerisation, reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer radical polymerisation are discussed. The stimuli responsive properties were categorised to thermo-responsive, pH responsive, etc. The nanocomposites of intelligent polymers hold a high potential for the biotechnology and nanotechnology markets.
