摘要

Mineral powders have not been used to reinforce silicone rubber so far, although they have been used as fillers in other rubbers~1. If a natural mineral powder, after being processed by physical and/or chemical methods, can be used as a reinforcing filler for silicone rubber to replace expensive fumed silica, it will not only promote the development of the silicone rubber industry, but also enhance the usefulness of the minerals~2.
