Addition-crosslinking silicone compositions are desirable as coatings for textile fabrics, especially for coatings that are odour-neutral and have good adhesive to the substrate. These compositions typically cure by reaction of an aliphatic unsaturated group with a silicon-bound hydrogen group in the presence of a catalyst (usually a platinum compound).
