摘要

First generation polybenzoxazines, formed by the reaction between amine, phenol and formaldehyde, are brittle. As a consequence, main chain type benzoxazines have been developed. The current authors have previously reported the synthesis of poly(amide-co-benzoxazine)s from amine-functional benzoxazine monomers, but it was difficult to prepare the monomer and its poor shelf-life (due to amine oxidation and reaction with benzoxazine).
