GAO report cites lax agency oversight of nonprofit groups receiving grants

Eespite recent efforts to boost oversight activities within its grants program,the Environmental Protection Agency has not done enough to identify and monitor nonprofit groups that misuse federal funds,the General Accounting Office said in an April 30 report to Congress.
