Recently high performance biological and chemically stable fluorine-containing/polyurethanes have been assembled by introducing partially fluorinated polyol sections into the polymer backbone. This paper concentrates on the synthesis of urethane cationomer PUDs incorporating fluorine into hard segments and the assessing thin films cast.
