The invention relates to a branched epoxy(meth)acrylate which has several branched structures and is capable of forming a film structure with a high crosslinking density after ultraviolet curing in a molecular skeleton and has a phenyl skeleton being a rigid molecular structure. The film hardness can be designed to be high, even if a cross-linking reaction by ultraviolet curing is reduced by designing the content of acryloyl group to be low, and strain in the cured film, caused by a curing contraction during ultraviolet curing, can be relaxed. As a result, an ultraviolet-curable composition for an optical disc having a high elastic modulus and litde distortion during curing, even if it is designed to have high film hardness, can be realised.
