摘要

Two novel cationic initiators, (η~6 -diphenylmethane) (η~5-cyclopentadienyl) iron hexafluorophosphate (PhCH2PhFe~+CpPF6~- and (η~6 -benzophenone) (η~5-cyclopentadienyl) iron hexafluorophosphate (PhCOPhFe~+CpPFe6~- have been reported. The results obtained show that PhCH2PhFe~+CpPF6~- and PhCOPhFe~+CpPF6~- are capable of photoinitiating the cationic polymerisation of epoxy monomer directly on irradiation with long-wavelength UV light.
