摘要

A comparison between the UV curing systems as liquid and solventless coatings and UV curing powder coatings is presented. The impact of photoinitiators and the structure of the resins are presented. The use of resins which can cure by radical UV initiation may be applied on both two dimensional as well on three dimensional substrates. A benefit residing in the UV powder coatings application and curing is very low or no oxygen inhibition. The melting of the resin system consisting in a crystalline binder combined with an amorphous cross-linker, wais performed at 120°C.
