摘要

Grafting chemical vapor deposition as solvendess,low temperature process was primarily used to coat nylon fabrics.The method is suitable for monomers that lack solubility in desired solvent.The potential of the method resides in achievement of durable hydrogels or hydrophobic functionalized surfaces.The monomers used to demonstrate this were dimethylaminomethyl styrene and diethylaminoethyl acrylate in the presence of type II photoinitiators,such as benzophenone.The molecular weight determined by GPC has been found in the range of 72 to 175 kDa,while the branching/ crosslinking density was as normal for other methods in the range of 0.06-0.25 chainm2.
