Synthesis of a star-shaped polymer having tris(beta-diketonato)chromium(III) at the center core

The metal-centered star-shaped polymer was prepared by coordination of p-(1,3-butanedionyl)-terminated poly(oxyethylene) with Cr(III) ion. The structure was confirmed by GPC analysis and IR spectra. The resulting polymer complex was well-soluble in various organic solvents and water. [References: 20]
