摘要

The synthesis and structural characterisation of a series of metal-saccrarinate complexes of formula [M(dien)(2)].2(sac).H2O [M(II) = Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II); then = diethylenetriamine, C4H13N3, sac = saccharinate, C7H4NO3S-] and [Cd(dien)(2)].2(sac) are described. The Ni, Cu and Zn complexes are isostructural and belong to the monoclinic space group la, whilst the Cd complex crystallizes in the triclinic space group P (1) over bar. In each case, two tridentate then ligands are bonded with the metal in a distorted octahedral arrangement, and the saccharinate anions remain outside the coordination sphere but participate in extensive hydrogen bonding network. The Ni, Cu and Zn complexes have a meridonal distribution of the then ligands, whilst the Cd complex shows a facial configuration. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved. [References: 24]
