The Senate voted overwhelmingly Feb.14 to approve a 463.5 billion long-term continuing resolution to fund the government for the final seven-and-a-half months of the 2007 fiscal year.The vote was 81-15.The measure,passed by the House Jan.31,would provide 7.9 billion for the Environmental Protection Agency and 18.3 billion for the Department of the Interior and related agencies,including the Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management (31 CRR 138,02/5/07).
