The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)will publish a series of scientific studies summarizing its biomonitoring studies in advance of its traditional report,a deputy director at CDC told BNA March 15.James L.Pirkle,deputy director for science at CDC's Environmental Health Laboratory,briefed BNA on a new approach the agency will use to publish biomonitoring data.Biomonitoring refers to measurements of chemicals in tissues,urine,hair,blood,and other parts of the human body.
