The Good Neighbor Environmental Board published a set of recommendations March 13 for reducing the environmental impact of homeland security operations along the U.S.-Mexico border.The independent advisory board's 10th annual report to the president and Congress focused on environmental problems associated with undocumented immigrant crossings and hazardous materials shipments along the nearly 2,000-mile-long border between the two countries.
