EPA Rule Finds HCFCs 'Unacceptable/But Allows Continued Use During Transition

The Environmental Protection Agency has found that two hydrochlorofluorocarbons used in "pour foam" applications such as commercial refrigeration and production of a polyurethane foam called slab-stock are no longer acceptable,although the agency is allowing use of the HCFCs to continue as companies make the transition to alternatives.
