Injection-moulded label mimics wooden barrel texture

Germany-based packaging company Sonoco has produced a package for a vegan spread using a specially designed variant of its PermaSafe container using in-mould labeling (IML) which is itself injection moulded. Packaging for the organic "Brotzeit" vegan spread - produced by the Tartex brand of Alios Hof, a German subsidiary of Netherlands-based Wessanen group - is styled to look like a wooden barrel.
