Fuel oil from plastic waste: Fruits of recycling tech

A section of the government is impressed by a waste-to-fuel conversion project under taken by a teacher-entrepreneur duo in Maharashtra. The technology developed by a chemistry teacher and now commercialised by a company— jointly formed by her entrepreneur his-band—is making news, although in a limited way. Many Industrial units in Maharashtra and a few big municipal corporations have already struck deals with their firm, unique Plastic Waste Management & Research Co Pvt Ltd, for supply of fuel oil generated from plastic waste.
