Canadian tooling solutions provider StackTeck has installed a new dedicated moulding system for proto typing and pilot runs of in-mould labelling (IML) products, since IML is still a relatively new technology in North America and proto typing of new products can be expensive. The system features a single-cavity mould with automated handling of pre-cut labels as well as part demoulding and stacking automation.
