Bioplastics constitute a new class of plastic materials at a very early stage of market penetration.As with other new technologies,the existing legislation is often not consistent with the opportunities offered by these innovations,nor do the existing laws usually reflect preconditions for the successful introduction and establishment of new products in the market.
