New compounding line commissioned in UK/ Custom compounder invests in R&D capacities

Petlon Polymers (Lydney / UK; www.petlon.co.uk) has brought on stream a new compounding line, lifting its capacity to 20,000 t/y. The upgrade was part of a GBP 1.3m (about EUR 1.54m) investment at the Lydney site, which was first announced in October last year, after the business acquired parts of Teknor Apex's (Pawtucket, Rhode Island / USA; www.teknorapex.com) former UK operations.
