EPA Releases Draft Policies, Procedures For Testing Orders Under Endocrine Program

The Environmental Protection Agency Dec. 13 released draft policies governing testing orders for initial screening of chemicals under the endocrine disrupter screening program (72 Fed. Reg. 76,842). The draft policies are intended to minimize duplicative testing, help companies share testing costs equitably, protect confidential information, and address data compensation issues, EPA said. The policies also explain who receives testing orders and how Order recipients should respond.
