The Grado gravimetric batch blender,on display at NPE's Booth 5091,uses a gain-in-weight batch principle in which each ingredient is metered in sequence by gate valves into a weigh bin.Once the preset batch weight has been reached the load cell sends a signal and the batch is emptied into the mixing chamber that sits on a load cell.The Grado reportedly provides constant weight per length.
