Gazprom and Sibur enter into PP jv with Titan / Collaborating on feedstock supply and distribution

Russian energy group Gazprom (Moscow; www.gazprom.com) and petrochemical giant Sibur (Moscow; www.sibur.com) have together acquired a stake in the Poliom PP plant operated by Titan (Omsk / Russia; www.titan-omsk.ru) in Omsk. Under the agreement, Sibgazpolimer - a 50:50 joint venture between Sibur and Gazprom Neft - will acquire half of the shares in Poliom (Omsk). Whereas Gazprom Neft will supply Poliom with feedstock (propane and propylene) from its refinery in Omsk, Sibur will distribute the PP output through its own network.
