In 2012, consumption of the six most important engineering thermoplastics (PC, PMMA, PA, ABS, SAN, POM) in Russia fell by just under 3 % to 193,000 t. This is just one of the figures reported in the latest publication compiled from government statistics by Plastinfo (Moscow / Russia; www.plastin-fo.ru), one of PIE's cooperation partners. In contrast, imports rose by 13.3% to 130,000 t.
