Italy recently accomplished a successful launch of a new government bond with a one-year maturity period while sinking investor returns continued, thus signalling to most analysts mounting confidence to invest in the country's economy. Yet, the country's industrial sector does not appear to be up to the task just yet of duplicating that confidence. In June, production sank 2.2% over the same period from 2012 and thus has now been in the "minus" zone for almost two years - despite having achieved very slight gains in April and May.
