If hurricanes Katrina and Rita teamed up to throw worldwide petrochemical markets off balance in September and October,regional glitches added fuel to the fire.It took until late October or early November to restore equilibrium to the European market after it was severely disrupted by outages at the BASF,Shell and Sabic crackers.
