Chinese machinery maker aims at leading world position / First German-made models in 2008

Chinese machinery manufacturer Ningbo Haitian Group,which claims to be world's number five behind Husky,En-gel,KraussMaffei and Toshiba(Ningbo,Zheijang / China),is targeting a leading position in injection moulding.It will build four new plants by 2008,financed by the EUR 130m proceeds from flotation of 25 % of the new Haitian International Holdings in late 2006.Sales are to be expanded towards the higher-value end of the markets.Several new export models were introduced at K 2007.
