Notations for standard thermoplastic recyclate in German-speaking Europe held up rather well from mid-October to mid-November despite some pressure from declining virgin polymer prices that was especially pronounced in competition with the many special offers from primary producers declared as off-spec material. Under this influence price declines ranged as high as EUR 50/t for neat rLDPE film. Consequently, recyclate producers' margins suffered, as procurement costs saw no significant retreat.
