Although manmade fibres still account for more than two-thirds of worldwide polyester demand,PET packaging resins continue to expand their share of consumption,according to a market analysis by Chemical Market Associates(CMAI,Houston,Texas / USA;www.cmaiglobal.com).What's more,the consultants say PET growth is exceeding that of fibre.CMAI forecasts annual growth of 7% for PET granules up to 2010.
