Lcps get better flowability and heat resistance

These new liquid crystal polymers from Sumitomo look especially good for surface-mount connectors on printed circuit boards. They provide greater heat stability when being molded, and they better resist blistering during soldering. Also, the new LCP resins are whiter, important for use in light emitting diode components.
