Capacities for PMMA have risen significantly in response to increased demand.Most of the growth has been seen in Asia,where capacity has doubled from some 300,000 t/y to about 600,000 t/y.The two biggest global players are Degussa and Lucite,each with output above 400,000 t/y.Altuglas can produce up to 250,000 t/y.
