Offerors and transporters of hazardous materials that are not small businesses will pay more in 2008 to register with the federal government,under a rule proposed by the Department of Transportation.Under the proposal,the larger businesses will pay a fee of 1,975 for the 2007-2008 registration year,and 2,975 for the 2008-2009 registration year.For the 2006-2007 registration year,those businesses paid a fee of 1,000.
