Known for providing high quality etch services for more than 40 years,Porter Process is introducing a specially formulated compound that permits the convenience of small-batch etching in-house.Prime-Etch~(TM) sodium naphthalene compound attacks the surface layer of most fluorinated polymers (PTFE,FEP,PFA,etc),stripping away fluorine to allow for the replacement of more bondable molecules that promote adhesion.Since only the surface is modified,other properties remain largely unaffected.The result is a strong,durable,long lasting etched surface.
