The DMS model D3 is a completely ball screw driven 5' x 10' moving gantry.The fixed screw spinning ball nut design greatly improves rigidity and cut quality while providing rapid travel speeds of up to 2,200 inches per minute without the maintenance associated with rack and pinion drive systems.
