Curbell Wins 1~(st) Place in Design Competition

摘要

Curbel Plastics won first place in the International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) Plastics Application Design Competition. The competition is an annual event that recognizes innovative uses for polymer materials. Curbell's entry consisted of plastic components for Brookhaven National Laboratory's NSLS II, an electron accelerator used for cutting-edge scientific research. Curbell Plastics collaborated with Brookhaven Lab to identify plastic materials capable of withstanding the high-energy radiation and vacuum conditions inside the accelerator enclosure.
