BASF Corp.and Lati USA,Inc.,the U.S.affiliate of Italian engineering-plastics compounder Lati Industria Termoplastici SpA,have announced that BASF would acquire the nylon 6 and nylon 6,6,polybutylene terephthalate,and polyoxymethylene business of Lati USA,effective Dec.30,2005.
