Routing Tools for Plastics

LMT Onsrud makes solid carbide, single-edge, spiral "O" flute routers ideal for the machining of common sheet plastics such as acrylic, polycarbonate, polypropylene and ABS. Their double-edge "O" flute tools are used to machine greater thicknesses of mechanical plastics like Delrin~R, UHMW and HDPE. Their routing tools' spiral "O" flute geometry produces large, tightly curled chips that readily clear the cutting zone, providing excellent edge finish with no chip-welding problems. They also offer solid carbide V-flute routing tools for the machining of harder, more brittle plastics and high-speed steel tools for operations such as hand routing where breakage may be an issue.
