Compact Extrusion Welder

With Leister's new WELDPLAST SI compact extrusion welder, users can perfect seam quality — with plate thicknesses of 4 to 12 mm — with all typical kinds of materials (such as PE, PP, PVC, PA, PVDF or ECTFE). Despite its size the WELDPLAST S1 achieves a maximum output of 1.76 lbs per hour (PVC: up to 2.5 Ibs/hr). The digitally regulated, multifunctional operating unit enables perfect control over the welding parameters, ensures reproducible results and guarantees more efficiency. This technology helps welders avoid fluctuations in improper temperature control that can lead to weak weld joints and/or overheating.
