Stiles Machinery Inc. introduced a new edge polisher from Weeke. The Weeke ABP 155 is a CNC-controlled edge-polishing machine for manufacturing components made of plastics, including acrylic. Designed to eliminatemanual labor, the machine brings valueas a stand-alone machine or a component of awork cell. The ABP 155 has an extremely heavy machine base and strong build quality.At roughly 2,600 lbs., the machine's frame is integrated with Weeke's patented SorbTech mineral composite material. This "steel of tomorrow" is capable of withstanding the increased demand on machine dynamics while providing a low vibration, stable machine construction - resulting in higher quality finished parts and longer tool life.
